Our Mission

The Volusia County Margarita Society was organized in 1988 as a non-profit organization to help needy children within our community. The original twenty-five Directors desired to create a process for friends to celebrate a special season, and yet, allow all to contribute towards a better Christmas for the under-privileged children of Central Florida.

From its humble start of having just a few hundred guests, the Margarita Ball has blossomed into one of the most anticipated events of the year, always kicking off the holiday season.

Partnered Organizations

By attending and donating toys at the Margarita Ball, you’re doing so much more than just giving a gift to a child in need. The impact of your generosity is far-reaching. It benefits the children, their families, and in turn, the community as a whole. We partner each year with many great local nonprofits and charity organizations that help distribute toys to the community.

Take Stock in Children offers at-risk, low income students college tuition scholarships, caring volunteer mentors and hope for a better life.
